Frequently asked questions

Accounts, platforms, AI, scheduling, security and pricing.

Account

How do I create an account?

Choose Get started, enter your name, email and a password of at least 12 characters, and accept the terms. We send a link to confirm your email address.

Does PostDooth cost anything?

Every new workspace can try the Starter plan free for 30 days, and no payment details are needed to start. Starter costs ₹99 per month in India or US$12 elsewhere: the AI assistant, 1,000 scheduled posts per month, one device signed in at a time and 20 Brand Brain profiles. Pro costs ₹199 or US$18 per month: unlimited scheduling, three devices at a time, 50 brands and editing posts after they are published; it has no free trial. Plans renew automatically each month with auto-pay until you turn it off. Prices exclude GST or other applicable taxes. You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid month. Payments are not refunded once the service has been used.

Platforms

Which social networks are supported?

Telegram, email (Gmail or Outlook), Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp Business, YouTube, X, Threads, Pinterest, Slack, Discord, Tumblr and Google Chat. Each needs a one-time setup when you connect it — signing in to the platform, or creating a bot for Telegram — and PostDooth guides you step by step.

How do I connect my accounts? Do you need my passwords?

Never. You connect accounts through each platform’s own official sign-in and consent screen. PostDooth never asks for your social media passwords.

AI

How does the AI writing help work?

PostDooth sends your brief and your Brand Brain facts to an AI service (Google Gemini, with OpenAI as a backup) and shows you a draft. You decide what to keep. The AI cannot publish anything.

Is my content used to train AI models?

By default PostDooth only sends your content to AI services under their paid API terms, where the providers state that it is not used to train their models. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Scheduling

Can I schedule posts in my own timezone?

Yes. Schedule by your local date and time; PostDooth handles daylight-saving changes and shows times in the timezone you chose.

What happens if a platform is down when my post is due?

PostDooth retries failures the platform reports as temporary. If the outcome is unclear, it does not post again automatically — it asks you, so nothing is published twice.

Security

How is my data protected?

Connection credentials are encrypted and tied to your workspace, passwords are stored as one-way hashes, and every workspace’s data is kept separate. Team members only see the workspaces they belong to.
